Mona Lisa is a 1986 British film which tells the story of a petty criminal who becomes entangled in the dangerous life of a high-class call girl. It stars Bob Hoskins, Cathy Tyson, Michael Caine, Robbie Coltrane and Sammi Davis .
The movie was written by Neil Jordan and David Leland , and directed by Jordan. It was produced by George Harrison's Handmade Films
In 1987, Bob Hoskins won the Golden Globe Award for best actor in a drama. Hoskins was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
